The Barbie Club, located at the Jaffa Port in Tel Aviv and renowned as the "home of Israeli music," presented an exciting challenge as part of a competition to redesign its digital presence. As part of the competition, we were tasked with making the brand unforgettable and stand out in the landscape of similar music venues.
The logo is an existing design used by the Barbie club for many years, and the client requested no alterations. I reconstructed and refined it from a raster image to make it more accessible for further use.
Design concept
I designed in a vintage style with a modern touch, conveying the authenticity of "the home of Israeli music" The visuals incorporate aged textures, paper scraps, and quotes from the artists' songs to evoke a sense of nostalgia. The white, yellow, and black hues complement the logo and blend with warm, worn-out backgrounds. The gift cards are inspired by vintage tickets, with unevenly cut edges and weathered textures, enhancing the timeless feel.
